Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a Torah Companion device, using our Transform service, or subscribing to Premium, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Device Ownership

When you purchase a Torah Companion device, you own the physical hardware. However, the Device Owner configuration is managed by Torah Companion. This means:

• You cannot install apps outside the pre-approved list
• Factory reset will disable the device (this is a security feature)
• Device modifications require contacting Torah Companion support

3. Transform Service

Our Transform service converts your existing Android device to Device Owner mode. By using this service, you understand:

• The transformation is permanent unless reversed by Torah Companion
• All existing data and apps will be removed during transformation
• Not all devices are compatible — we will confirm compatibility before proceeding
• You must be the legal owner of the device being transformed

4. Premium Subscription

Torah Companion Premium is a monthly subscription service:

• Individual Plan: $7.99/month for one device
• Family Plan: $14.99/month for up to 5 devices
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
• Cancel anytime — no long-term commitment required
• Refunds are not provided for partial months

5. Free Trial

New users receive 3 months of Premium free. No credit card is required during the trial. You will be notified before any charges begin.

6. Warranty

Torah Companion devices come with a 1-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover:

• Physical damage (drops, water damage, etc.)
• Damage from attempted tampering or modification
• Normal wear and tear

7. Returns & Refunds

We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on device purchases:

• Return the device in original condition within 30 days for a full refund
• Shipping costs for returns are the customer's responsibility
• Transform services are non-refundable once completed

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States.
